Instructions

Begin by popping the popcorn kernels. You can use an air popper or the stovetop method. If using the stovetop, heat a large pot over medium heat and add a couple of tablespoons of oil. Once hot, add the kernels and cover the pot. Shake occasionally until the popping slows down. Remove from heat and transfer the popcorn to a large mixing bowl.

In a saucepan, combine the coconut sugar, coconut oil, maple syrup, and salt. Cook over medium heat, stirring frequently until the mixture begins to boil. Let it boil without stirring for about 4-5 minutes or until it reaches a rich amber color. Be careful not to overcook it, as it can burn quickly.
