These light and fluffy sponge drops are the perfect treat for any occasion. Simple yet delicious, they require minimal ingredients but deliver maximum flavor.

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper to prevent sticking.

In a medium bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and salt. Whisk together until well mixed.

In a separate large mixing bowl, cream the softened butter and granulated sugar together until the mixture is light and fluffy. This should take about 3-4 minutes.
